Holy smokes, 2 updates in one day! About a week ago, I was introduced the instagram game. When are they going to stop creating all of these networking outlets?! I’m getting sick and dizzy trying to follow them all. But yes, I fell victim to instagram. If you use it, please follow me. Username is JohnnyWae. But I gotta be honest…I am no photographer. Sorry in advance! PEACE.
I am very psyched to announce that I’ll be doing my first ALL AGES SHOW and we can finally bring some dope hip hop to the kids! Mindz-I Entertainment/Full Blast Movement present “Element-als” at the ATC. Every element of hip hop will be represented on the 29th! If you’re a hip hop head, you don’t want to miss this one! Check out the ‘SHOWS’ section for all the info you need. I hope to see everybody there, it’s going to be a great time. Word UP. PEACE.
Word UP, it’s finally here! I know, I know, I’m a little late with this but I’ve been in another world as of late. The Full Blast Mixtape Volume 2 dropped on November 4th and I can’t be happier being apart of it. The tape is a dedication to Full Blast artist, Lighta, who passed away recently. Hence the title, “Fuck Matchez!” The mixtape features 5:AM, BC CONNECT, BLACASTAN, BRASH, CHUCK NICKELS, CORY GUNZ, DUECE BUG, JOHNNY WAE, JUS ALLAH, KENNY CASH, LIGHTA, MADECIPHA, METAMUSICK, POLITICAL ANIMALS, PRUVEN, SKETCH THA CATACLYSM, WHITE CHEDDAR & MORE! The names listed here are a great reason alone to cop the tape! You can cop a mixtape at any of the upcoming Full Blast shows or you can download it for free, right here! Choose your weapon…

Enjoy!
You heard it first! Help one of CT’s Finest Hip Hop groups cop a van so they can rock out on tour and further spread their music. I want to give a GIANT THANKS to Political Animals for putting me on the bill…that’s LOVE. I’ll be performing along side some of the illest in the state including Brash, Joey Batts and my homies in BC Connect. It’ll definitely be nice to be back at Dewey’s Pub because the shows are always CRAZY there! Hit up the ‘SHOWS’ section of the site for all the info you need.
This is a perfect example of why being wrong is sometimes a good thing. In the previous post, I said to hit up the reverbnation or soundcloud pages for the FREE DOWNLOADS. I just figured out you can click the little box next to the song title and there is a download option featured. So there you go! Enjoy. PEACE.
Damn, it’s been a minute and a half! Hope everybody is doing well. It’s been a bit quiet over here, just working on some secret production and getting things in order for the new record. Once more develops on that, I’ll be sure to let y’all know. With that being said, there are still a bunch of FREE DOWNLOADS of some older joints and some fairly new joints as well. If you look to the left of this page, you can see a new reverbnation mp3 player has been added. You can stream joints right from the player and you can even share it with your homies if that’s what you’re into! To grab those FREE DOWNLOADS, head over to the ‘LINKS’ section and click the MC Johnny Wae reverbnation and/or soundcloud pages.
I also sat down with special guest of the Connecticut Hip Hop Underground Show, B-Eazy of BC Connect on July 20th at Big Bar Radio. Cy Matics of BC Connect and White Cheddar also came through for a freestyle session and that shit was definitely fun as fuck! Hit up the ‘ARCHIVE’ section of www.BigBarRadio.com and check out the audio/video yourself!
Now it’s time to eat some dinner. PEACE y’all.
For real! It was definitely one of the best shows I have been apart of. And I’m honored to have shared the stage with not only Apathy but special guest Blacastan too. The Acoustic Cafe is a dope place to perform at and I hope to be there again very soon. It was nice to be home in Bridgeport! Peace to dUECE bUG and Maria Manes from Mindz-I Entertainment for hooking me up with the spot. I appreciate the love, believe me. And a HUGE THANKS to everybody who came out and supported. Without y’all, who would we perform for?
I also dropped this joint a few weeks ago. “Dark Defenders” ft. jus Produced by Goodkind, Cuts by Jake D. Here’s the FREE DOWNLOAD LINK. http://soundcloud.com/johnnywae/dark-defenders-ft-jus
Enjoy.
That’s right! Thanks to my homie, Duece Bug, I will have a spot opening up for CT’s very own APATHY! If you know me, you know I’ve been a huge Apathy fan for many years so this is absolutely insane for me. I’ll be sharing the stage with other members of the Full Blast crew as well as Demigodz/AOTP member, Apathy. Again, I am very humbled to even be on this show. Please, check out the ‘SHOWS’ section for all the details! Hope to see y’all there! Word UP. PEACE everybody.
What up y’all. I’m usually not a mixtape/datpiff kinda guy but my Full Blast crew released the Big Bars Vol. 1 earlier this month. This tape/cd/digital download/whatever you wanna call it is definitely dope, front to back. Like I said in the post before this one, I saw them flying off the merch table at the release party! Definitely a good sight to see. Anyway, you can download it for FREE at www.datpiff.com
Just search Full Blast Mixtape Vol. 1: Big Bars
Enjoy yourselves… it’s a celebration!
PEACE!
I know I’m about a week late with this post but at least I didn’t put it off altogether. The Full Blast Mixtape Release Party was off the fuckin’ wall at Dewey’s! The crowd was hype and all of the artists did their thing as usual. Peace to the whole Full Blast crew especially my man Duece Bug for hooking us up with the spot on the bill. I also wanna say peace to Duece for throwing “The Matrix” (from Sucka-Free Verses) and “Reefa” (which I produced for BC Connect) on the Full Blast tape. Those things were selling like CRAZY, that’s what’s up. BIG shout to everybody who copped the tape and continues to support the movement. I added the mixtape to the ‘DISCOGRAPHY’ section and the tape will be available through the online store very soon! So if you didn’t get a copy, you can cop it here soon.
And finally, the new stickers are in! I handed a shit load of them out at the show and have been sticking them up on churches/government facilities every chance I get. If you want some stickers to vandalize your town with, contact me at 203.936.8328 or email me at villainsdc@gmail.com As for now, I gotta get back to some production. PEACE y’all!
